Building the quantum future of the Americas.
Connecting countries, industry, academia and the quantum ecosystem to strengthen capability, security, talent and collaboration across the Americas.
Why the Americas Quantum Alliance
Quantum technologies will create new opportunities across economic competitiveness, cybersecurity, science, industry and national capability.
No single country or organization can build the quantum ecosystem alone.
AQUA is being created to connect quantum capability across North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America, and to create opportunities for governments, industry, academia and the quantum ecosystem to collaborate.
Our priorities
Four areas where regional coordination matters most.
Capability
Build access to quantum technologies, infrastructure, expertise and knowledge across the Americas.
Security
Help governments and organizations prepare for quantum related cybersecurity risks and the transition to post quantum cryptography.
Talent
Develop the next generation of quantum leaders, researchers, practitioners and educators.
Collaboration
Connect governments, industry, academia, research organizations and the wider quantum ecosystem.
